As early as 6 months old! Our Level 1 Survival lessons are designed for infants and toddlers (6 months–4 years) to learn life-saving skills like floating and breathing.
Private lessons (Levels 1–3) are 15 focused minutes — the ideal attention span for little swimmers. Group lessons (Level 4) run 30 minutes.
It typically takes 24–30 consecutive lessons for a child to master survival skills. We recommend 2–4 lessons per week for Level 1, and 1–2 per week for other levels, for steady progress.
One-on-one time lets your child bond with the instructor quickly and get fully personalized attention — which means faster, safer progress. Level 4 is our social group option for more experienced swimmers.
Arrive already dressed and ready to swim for a quick transition. Bring a towel. Any child who isn't 100% potty trained needs a Happy Nappy reusable swim diaper or two layered disposable swim diapers.

Absolutely — we just ask parents to sit a little further from the pool so your child bonds with the instructor faster. We'll wave you over to the deck about a minute before pickup.
We monitor weather closely and may close for severe conditions. If we ever cancel a lesson, you'll get a free make-up lesson to use within 30 days.
Each student receives 2 free make-up lessons per year for documented absences. Cancellations need 24 hours' notice; a $10 rescheduling fee applies, and make-ups expire 30 days from the missed date. No call/no shows aren't eligible.
Your first invoice covers the one-time registration fee plus your first two weeks, due at registration. After that, choose weekly, bi-weekly, monthly, or pay-in-full invoicing. We accept cash, check, bank transfer, or credit card.
