Meet your instructor

Hi, I'm Katrina 👋

Every child deserves to be safe in the water

Kit’s Survival Swim was built on one belief: the water should be a place of joy, not fear. Drowning is the leading cause of accidental death for young children — and it’s preventable.

I teach little ones the skills to save themselves: how to reach the surface, roll to a back float, breathe, and stay calm. From there we build confidence, technique, and a genuine love of swimming — all at your child’s pace, one-on-one.

Lessons happen at a private, outdoor saltwater pool in Ponca City. Parents give a little space at the deck so your child and I can bond quickly — and I’ll always wave you over about a minute before pickup.

Safety first, always

Survival skills come before everything else. Water safety is the whole point.

Patience & trust

Gentle, one-on-one lessons that meet your child exactly where they are.

Joyful progress

Celebrating every float, breath, and stroke — and making kids excited to come back.
